After having complications with my cast and the concept of my music video, I have finally got my final cast.
Natasha Newman
Natasha, is a graphics, media and drama student at Wyke Sixth Form College. She will be playing the main character in my video. Due to her keen interest in acting will make it easy for her to get into character and will feel comfortable around a camera. Natasha has a very old school glamour look which will make her appealing to look at. Natasha was also featured in my AS foundation portfolio, so I know that she will be reliable. Natasha will be playing the love interest to Izzy in my music video. She will be seen reflecting back on the relationship by looking through the scrap book.
Izzy Smart
Izzy will be playing the love interest to my main character (Natasha) in my music video. Izzy is a media, film and art student at Wyke Sixth Form College. Due to her keen interest in media and film she will be feel comfortable around a camera and can assist me when shots. Izzy has a very distinctive girl next door beauty, which will make her relatable to my audience. She will be seen in the flashbacks and in the scrapbook pictures.
Annie Harmeston
Annie Harmeston is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from East Yorkshire, she will be used as the artist in my music video and will also rerecord the track for the use of my video. Annie is also a photography student and has said that she will help me take the photographs when it comes to creating my ancillary texts. Annie also studies Music, which will be useful when it comes to rerecording the track.

Casting Update
Due to the face I have changed the concept
of my music video to focus around the story of a same sex relationship. I have
asked my friend Natasha, who is also the main actress in my music video, to ask
some of her fellow A Level Drama friends if one of them would be interested in
doing this. I thought this would appeal to them as it would be something they
could add in a portfolio and will stand out and will show versatility in their
acting capabilities.

Chosen Record Label
I decided to follow conventions by including a record label on my ancillary texts. To do this, I used my research from my AS music industry and decided to use one of those instead of creating my own as it would be unnecessary time wasting for me to do that.
I have chosen Sony Music Entertainment because it is one of the most recognised labels in the music industry and I want to portray my artist to be very known and popular through my presentation and choice of music label. I am going to use a pre-eminent label of Sony that is called Columbia. Columbia has signed a variation of different artists such as Beyonce, AC/DC, Daft Punk and One Direction

Rerecording Of Song/Additional Cast
Due to the changes I have had to make to my music video, I have decided to make the artist separate to the narrative of the music video. Instead of having one of the love interests singing the song at a gig environment, I will have Annie Harmeston who will be used as my artist. I didn't want the artist to be the main focus of the video but for it to be centred around the same sex relationship.

Idea 2: Homosexual Relationship
The idea of a homosexual relationship was one I thought of originally when thinking about music video ideas, however at the time I didn't think of using special effects and make up to make my cast look older. I believe that the idea of a homosexual relationship not only fits in with the time but could also promote the LGBT community.
Here are some examples of music videos with this idea:

Idea 1: Point Of View Style Music Video
Point of view is a style that not many directors have used to film their music video. This would make mine stand out and be original compared to other peoples music video. By using POV it would allow the viewer to feel as if they were the one in the relationship with the person in my music video. It would also make the viewer focus on the narrative on the video rather than the artist itself.
Here are some examples of already existing POV music videos:

Complications With Casting
Jack, who was meant to be my main feature in my music video is now moving to Nottingham which means I will be unable to use him in the music video. However, I have come up with some other ideas based around the same concept for my music video.
